Jeez, Kara. Obviously it means the one who committed a tort, i.e. a “wrong” such as battery, false imprisonment, negligence, and so much more!. For example, say I lock you in a room against your will. I would be a tortfeasor!

(Cue freak out that I defined tortfeasor wrong)
